Since the terrorist attacks on the United States in September of 2001, the manner in which international trade transactions are conducted amongst members of the international trade community and U.S. Customs and Border Protection has become quite a daunting task in today's highly regulated international trade environment.
While the threat of terrorist activity is ever more present in today's dangerous world, we must remain vigilant in our pursuit of knowledge pertaining to the ever changing laws and regulations enforced by U.S. Customs and Border Protection as it would relate to conducting customs business.
I strongly believe that effective communication is the key to success; therefore, I invite everyone to post any commentary and/or questions as it would relate to conducting international trade transactions involving U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
